Market share of mobile phone connection in India

Acording to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) total mobile subscribers increased from 1,141.96 million at the end of February-23, to 1,143.93 million at the end of March-23, thereby registering a monthly growth rate of 0.17%.

The Wireless Tele-density in India increased from 82.38% at the end of February-23 to 82.46% at the end of March-23.

The share of urban and rural wireless subscribers in total number of wireless subscribers was 54.86% and 45.14% respectively at the end of March- 23.

Except Punjab, Kolkata, U.P.(W), Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Mumbai, all other service areas have showed growth rate in their wireless subscribers during the month of March-23.
